Full to the Brim with Delicious Gratitude
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday - always has been. Your gift is your presence with perhaps the addition of Aunt Betty’s cranberry sauce. Whether you are hosting or joining this year here are some Autumn cocktail recipes to add to the feast. I prefer these on the rocks.
COCKTAILS:
- 4oz SkinTē White Tea Ginger
- 1oz Sage simple syrup (see recipe below)
- 1oz Irish mist (honey liqueur)
- 4oz SkinTē Lemon Lime
- 0.5oz Sage simple syrup (see recipe below)
- 1oz Pear brandy
- 4oz SkinTē Hibiscus Vanilla
- 1oz Pomegranate juice
- 1oz Pama (pomegranate liquor)
- 1oz Pomegranate juice
- 1oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
SAGE SIMPLE SYRUP:
What You’ll Need
- 1 c sugar or honey- 1 c water
- 1 fishful of fresh sage leaves
Instructions
- In a large heat-proof bowl, pour sugar or honey.
- Pour over boiling water and stir to dissolve.
- Add sage leaves once sweetener has dissolved and let sit for at least 30 min to infuse.
- Remove the sage leaves and store covered in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Each recipe can be adjusted according to your taste and also made into a mocktail by removing the alcohol and adding a squeeze of fresh citrus juice/zest. When I developed these recipes I created a mini-bar and played around. I recommend you do the same and find your own new Thanksgiving tradition with a little liquid radiance!
